Certificate in Beauty Care Management/Dairy Product Processing

1. Certificate in Beauty Care Management

An add‑on course in Beauty Care Management is a short‑term, skill‑oriented programme designed to give students practical training in beauty therapy along with basic salon and business management. It usually covers core areas such as skin care (cleansing, facials, basic treatments), hair care (shampooing, conditioning, basic haircuts, and styling), makeup techniques for different occasions, and nail care, including manicure and pedicure, often with hands‑on practice. Alongside technical beauty skills, the “management” component introduces basics of salon operations, client consultation, hygiene and safety, customer service, professionalism, and sometimes simple entrepreneurship topics like pricing, record keeping and promoting services. Such courses are commonly offered parallel to a regular degree, aim to improve employability, and prepare learners either to work in beauty clinics, salons, and spas or to start a small‑scale beauty care venture of their own.

2. Dairy Product Processing

This programme will cover the basics of dairy food processing and preservation technologies required in any dairy and food processing industry. The basic knowledge of dairy food processing is intermingled with most of the unit operations at some or other stage of processing. Since this basic aspect of food processing and preservation is not taught in most of the Agricultural engineering institutions elaborately, a comprehension of these aspects of processing and preservation will enrich the knowledge base of the students in general.
