Bachelor of food technology (BSc. Food Technology) is a 4-year UG programme which is divided into eight semesters 1st to 3rd semesters includes 6 papers including Major food technology and 2 minor papers (Physics & Chemistry), Multidisciplinary courses (MDC), Ability enhancement courses (AEC1 & AEC2).The courses cover perspectives of food Science & Technology, Food microbiology, food engineering, food Chemistry and analytical instrumentation, nutrition and health, cereals, pulses and oilseeds processing technology, preservation and packaging technology, Dairy Technology, technology of animal foods, food laws and regulations and fruits, vegetables, spices and plantation crops technology. The programme also includes practical of food technology, physics and chemistry.
