WDC at CPA College of Global Studies is a dynamic unit to empower the women students in the college. The Cell aims to promote awareness of gender equality and at enlightening and uplifting girls through various programmes like training sessions, career growth classes, skills, craft exhibitions, self defense classes etc. The cell intends to bring girl students to the fore front of different activities in the college and out of the college by offering various facilities and benefits to them. The cell also find time to organize various academic, Medical, cultural and social events which benefit the students of the college.

To empower girl students and to make them self-reliant.

To instill positive self-esteem and confidence in female students so that they can take right decisions in and for their lives.

OBJECTIVES

• To prevent sexual harassment and to promote general well-being of female students.
• To create social awareness about the problems of women an in particular regarding gender discrimination
• To organize seminars, workshops for creating general awareness and orientation of students for their active participation in the activities of the cell
• To organize various types of training programmes like self defense, karate, craft skills etc.
