The Department of Physics started
functioning in the year 2022. The
department offers a minor programme for Bachelor of Food Technology (BSc. Food
Technology) Department.
PROGRAMME OVERVIEW

Bachelor of Physics (BSc. Physics) is a Complimentary UG
programme which is divided into four semesters. 1st to 4th
semester includes 4 papers along with practical in the last semester. The
courses cover - Properties of matter and thermodynamics, Optics, laser and
electronics, Mechanics, relativity, waves and oscillation. Electricity,
magnetism and nuclear physics.

BSc. Physics (FYUGP) is a minor programme for 1, 2 & 3
semester including practicals.The course covers – Non convectional energy
sources, Fluid mechanics and thermodynamics, Optics and spectroscopy.
